Here’s a very cool ’51 P-Bass, built by the Custom Shop with a roasted ash body and roasted quartersawn neck as well! The roasting process not only removes excess moisture and adds stability to the wood, it gives it old-growth qualities that add in some overtones and characteristics of all our favorite vintage electric guitars. With its soft “V” neck profile and vintage size frets, this bass is a joy to play and we’re sure you won’t want to put it down. The bass currently is set up with D’Addario flatwound strings, and has a Lindy Fralin ’51 Split P pickup installed, with the original included in the case.
The bass is in overall excellent condition and includes the original case with bridge and pickup covers.
