The Fender Custom Shop display at the NAMM show is without a doubt one of the most anticipated events at the show, year after year. This past 2018 NAMM show saw us bring home some real goodies, including this gorgeous piece by masterbuilder Jason Smith: a 1960 Stratocaster with a Journeyman Relic finish over an Aged Trans Cherry finish that lets you see the nice grain of the okoume body. The neck is a 1969 “U” shape with a smooth, dark looking ebony fretboard that’s been bound, and it’s loaded with Josefina hand-wound Fat ’60s Strat pickups that pump out classic, glassy Strat tones.
Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, Tremolo Arm, Hang Tag, Paperwork, Strap, Cable
