This collectible ES-335 is a Gibson Custom Shop Alvin Lee ’59 ES-335 built in 2008, modeled after his original ‘Big Red’ – this was a limited run of the model that came without the stickers of the original. Alvin Lee and his heavy, manic blues rock band Ten Years After provided one of the most memorable performances at Woodstock in 1969 – and it’s no surprise that Gibson wanted to pay tribute to one of the most influential sets and guitarists of all time. The guitar is in overall excellent condition with the original case and COA included.
