This is the new Gibson Elvis Dove – an acoustic-electric guitar based on an original customized ’69 Gibson Dove that was gifted to Elvis Presley from his father Vernon Presley. Elvis played that all-black Dove in concert regularly from 1971 through 1975, at which poiunt he gifted it to an audience member in Asheville, North Carolina! This excellent reproduction includes an all-ebony finish, split parallelogram inlays on a rosewood fretboard and Grover Keystone tuners. This Dove also comes with the LR Baggs VTC electronics system!
